Maintenance Manager- Detroit, MI

Legacy is seeking a full-time Maintenance Manager to support a 200-unit property located in Detroit, MI. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for scheduling and tracking work orders and unit turns and managing a team to maintain property grounds including mechanical and manual snow removal. In addition, you will be required to perform general maintenance and repair duties. This position is responsible for budgeting, preventative maintenance schedules, and documentation (snow logs, contractor bids, maintenance records) and requires the ability to work different shifts, including on-call, emergencies, weekends, holidays, and extended hours outdoors in different weather conditions. Providing exceptional customer service and the ability to work independently is necessary to be successful. 

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; credits or training from a technical school or college preferred
Three or more years of experience managing a team
Customer Service attitude in all interactions with staff and residents
Proficient in plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair
Experience with drywall repairs and painting is essential
Experience with HUD REAC inspections required
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
HVAC Certification is a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Experience working in Yardi preferred

Leasing Consultant - Saginaw, MI

Legacy is seeking a part-time Leasing Consultant for a 366-unit market rate property located in Saginaw, MI. As Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for interacting with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy. This position is vital to the property and must maintain high resident retention by effectively marketing to prospective residents, community guests and the community, external marketing and outreach and ensuring a smooth resident move-in process. Providing exceptional customer service and the ability to work independently is necessary to be successful.

Requirements:

Previous leasing experience preferred
Exceptional customer service skills with the capacity to relate to a variety of people/personalities
Highly organized self-starter with the ability to take on initiatives within a fast paced environment

As a Server, you will be responsible for performing a variety of food service functions and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of service area, facilities and equipment.
